Gipping successfully completed extension, refurbishment and conversion of an existing Grade 2 listed church for the Baptist community who had acquired the building from the congregational church.

We worked sensitively with the community and architect to retain and embellish the historic features and ensure that existing graves were not disturbed.

We obtained reclaimed materials to match existing ones where necessary and created a building with a modern feel internally which incorporated flexible space for Sunday worship, one large and three small meeting rooms an entrance foyer and sanctuary gallery together with a fitted kitchen and toilet facilities.
