Gipping successfully built a new individually designed retirement cottage adjacent to an existing converted farm house.

The owners of the cottage are related to those in the farmhouse. It was therefore designed to share the benefits of Solar Energy and have a common access with the main farmhouse, but also the flexibility to become a stand-alone home in the future, if required.

The project included many brick and exposed timber features, and was extended to include works to the farmhouse including a “bespoke” kitchen, and other internal and external alterations.
