Situated in the village of Hoxne, Gipping completed a sympathetic development of 2 four bedroom houses, a 3 bedroom bungalow and a 2 bedroom high specification luxury bungalow for a private client.
The high specification bungalow features vaulted ceilings, open plan living area, wet room, oak timber throughout, underfloor heating and a sunken lounge with wood burner. Gipping designed an innovative mechanical heat recovery system to use the excess heat from the wood-burner to distribute warm air around the property via a concealed integrated duct work system, thereby reducing heating costs.
Externally the property benefits from a sunken patio made from natural Indian stone paving. Initially the external paving was concrete, however Gipping were able to propose and source the Stone paving providing both aesthetic benefits and a cost saving for our client.
