Old Rectory, Little Blakenham, Suffolk

The Client had acquired a Grade 2 listed, but rundown, rectory with a single storey, badly constructed, extension.

Working with the client, architect and conservation officer, Gipping restored the original building which included stabilising the main rendered façade, replacing and overhauling the windows, revising the internal layout, replacing floors and rebuilding the kitchen with new flat roof.

The Company also constructed a new sympathetic two storey extension in lieu of the previous single one.
