We took a peek behind the scenes at Ipswich Museum this morning, before we commence work on the sensitive restoration and preservation of this magnificent landmark.
The 1880’s structure has a wealth of unique and fascinating heritage features, all contributing to the narrative of its important place in the history of Ipswich and the local area.
The Museum’s menagerie of exotic animals, from the famous woolly mammoth, to the towering giraffe will be keeping a watchful eye as works progress and we will be posting regular updates of what is happening inside and out, detailing the Museum’s ready for future generations to enjoy. mammothmakeover
