Just in time for the May Bank Holiday weekend, we handed over the final phase of works at The Long Shop Museum, Leiston.
The project involved an extensive and sympathetic refurbishment of this nineteenth century work house, including repairs to brickwork, major roof timber repairs, strip-off and re-tiling of the main roof, new roof lanterns and roof lights, lead and copper work, gutters, new Crittall-style windows and decoration to all windows, doors and facias, all crowned by a beautiful refurbished weather vane.
All works have been carried out to strict Heritage standards with rhp Architects and Stuart Armitage of The Morton Partnership Ltd, Structural Engineers.
