Today’s sub-zero temperatures haven’t stopped play at our Hadleigh site – the redevelopment of the former Babergh and Mid Suffolk District Councils Offices into residential accommodation.
Groundworkers and bricklayers were busy in freezing conditions working on the construction of an external retaining wall while there was plenty of activity internally (where it was slightly warmer!)
There have been dramatic changes to the development in just a few months and with some of the flats nearing completion, it is evident how the historical features of the site’s original structures, dating from early nineteenth century to 1980’s, have been carefully preserved and restored.
We are excited to see how the development, situated next to Hadleigh Cricket Club and aptly named ‘Bowler’s Croft’, emerges as a very desirable and sought after place to live in the coming months.
