Harwich Docks

Harwich Docks were built on reclaimed land and the berths are contained by sheet piles of varying ages, some of which have been replaced and others which have been repaired.

The Gipping team have been involved in the docks for approximately 30 years undertaking civil engineering work in exposed marine environment.

The team has been responsible for the design and construction of new warehouses and lighting towers. Since the docks are a RoRo Terminal, our works have also included surfacing works to steel storage and car stacking areas.
