One of seven phases, this part of the project at Howard Community School included demolition, internal re-modelling of circulation, administration and ancillary areas, classroom refurbishment new M&E, air-conditioning, ventilation, toilets, drainage, firestopping, external aluminium doors, new windows, internal walls, internal doors and flooring as well as various external works. The extensive volume of works had to be largely undertaken and completed during the six week summer recess.

Social Value
Gipping donated some Meccano construction toys for the school’s first ever Christmas Fayre raffle and worked with EPPH to provide a Christmas tree. Our Site Manager, Chris Crabtree, liaised closely with school staff, arranging tours of the site, play tools and provided PPE to primary aged children.
