The project at St Matthews Street, Ipswich, Suffolk, involved the refurbishment of nine flats and an office building including a full strip-out all internal walls and finishes, to create 11 luxury flats above a shopping arcade. The scheme included a new access staircase and balustrading, new windows, doors and new roof covering. 

The property is a 1960’s concrete frame building with an undercroft car park beneath.  The buildings were run down and had been empty for many years.
