Our portfolio of work goes as far back as 2004, when Gipping was incorporated. The business has grown substantially since then, both in size and turnover but our commitment to quality remains the same as ever. This portfolio includes work in all sectors; residential, education, art and culture, health and care, heritage, civil engineering and leisure, demonstrating the scope of what we do. Residential

Gipping deliver award-winning homes that meet exacting standards, including affordable and social housing, private developments and individual, high-specification houses.

Educational

Site-based employees are enhanced DBS checked and receive regular training for working in education. Site Managers work closely with staff to minimise disruption with back up from Gipping’s social value team to provide valuable and fun educational opportunities for students.

Health & Care

Gipping work closely and sensitively with healthcare establishments to minimise disruption of their essential work during a project’s lifetime, whist efficiency and exemplary adherence to health & safety on these sites is critical. Site teams are selected for their experience in creating safe, and pleasant environments for staff and patients in care homes and hospitals.

Commercial & Industrial

Whether a traditional construction project or a design and build package, Gipping work with clients transparently to deliver projects with minimal disruption in conditions that often require high standards of health and safety together with strict adherence to environmental procedures. A good working relationship enables us to understand priorities, meet changing requirements, deal with the unforeseen and crucially, meet deadlines.

Religion

We have extensive experience of working in places of worship, both contemporary and historic. These sites often require the specialist skills of our highly trained craftsmen.

Heritage

Working with some of the finest architects and craftsmen, Gipping have helped to conserve and restore some exceptionally fine buildings, an achievement recognised by winning the RIBA Suffolk Craftsmanship award several times. The Company has also fulfilled the strict criteria to be awarded the prestigious NFB Heritage mark.

Sport & Leisure

Our work in this sector spans everything from the redevelopment of leisure centres to the construction of seaside villages with outdoor trim trails. These sites usually remain open whilst works are in progress, presenting extra challenges of working in a live environment.

Art & Culture

Our work on Museums and Theatres often overlaps into the Heritage sector as many of the sites we work on are iconic landmarks which are much-loved by their communities. Great care is taken to ensure their redevelopment or construction is undertaken with the greatest care and respect for the building and its surroundings.

Civil Engineering

Gipping Construction has worked successfully on civil engineering projects in docks, chemical, and other industrial complexes for over ten years. We particularly focus on specific technical projects which require substantial management input including those in high-risk areas or those that require very controlled operations in the public arena, such as National Trust visitor centres.
