David Andrew

Site Manager

David began his career as an apprentice carpenter but having completed his apprenticeship, his potential shone through and he was soon offered the role of Assistant Site Manager before progressing to Site Manager in 2023.
David has gained a wide range of experience working on varied projects but has also complimented this by continuing formal training. He has a keen eye for detail as well as strong programme and safety awareness.

New Training Centre, Hethersett. Value: £1,200,000
Refurbishment of former boarding school which had been bought by Norfolk constabulary with works on five different buildings, some of which were listed. The project created classrooms, office space, a data centre, and sports hall facilities for the client. Upgrading car park areas and demolition of redundant buildings.

Norfolk Constabulary Estates. Value: £400,000
Construction of two new car parks involving tarmac with block-paved parking spaces and bod pave to tree protection areas. Works included surface water drainage with petrol interceptor and attenuation tank.

Saxon House Dental Clinic, Bury St Edmunds. Value: £450,000
Refurbishment of existing building into a new dental practice. Works involved strip out of existing walls and forming new walls. The works included fit out of new specialised equipment.

Shoulder of Mutton Wetherspoons, Ashby de La Zouch. Value: £1,500,000
Refurbishment of an existing pub with new extension. Works included new bar and bar area, kitchen, customer toilets and external seating areas.

MGS, Rougham. Value: £1,300,000
Construction of a new two storey industrial unit. Works involved steel framed building with brickwork, wall and roof cladding. Power floated ground floor areas for work spaces and offices on first floor. Concrete service yard with ground source heat pump beneath and block paved car park area.

Earlham Road Police Station, Norwich. Value: £1.4m
Demolition of three residential dwellings and existing police facility. Construction of a new two storey police station with car park area. The building incorporated office area’s and locker rooms.

North Walsham Police Station. Value: £1,400,000
Demolition of existing police station in two phases to keep police operational and construction of new police station and property store building. The original Courthouse Frontage had to be retained, with the new extension at the rear with full height glazing surrounding the retained Courthouse.

New Aldi Store, Lowestoft. Value: £2,200,000
Working as an Assistant Site Manager on the construction of a new supermarket. Works involved construction of a new adoptable road, car park and steel frame and concrete panel building, which was transported over from Germany, incorporating a glazed curtain wall.

Cromer and Aylsham Police Station. Value: £2m
Working as an assistant site manager constructed two new deployment bases for Norfolk constabulary. Construction of new adoptable road and single storey building. The building features air-source heat pumps, photovoltaic cells, a green Sedam roof and a wind turbine.
