Working sustainably is a responsibility we take very seriously and the importance of adopting good practices is instilled in our employees, our supply chain and throughout every stage of a project, even before we move on to site.
We have extensive experience in renewable, low carbon, ecologically friendly forms of construction ranging from solar photovoltaic, heat pumps, heat recovery ventilation systems, water harvesting, sustainable drainage and sustainable building materials such as recycled, salvaged and sustainable material resources including hempcrete, timber, rubber, glass, aggregates and paper.
As responsible contractors who are ISO14001 accredited, we operate our sites with stringent environmental controls in place. These range from:
- Surface water management
- Environmental risk assessments
- The energy we use on sites is from 100% renewable sources
- Waste management – we minimise waste and use licensed companies. Typically, 90% of waste is recycled
- Wildlife conservation measures
- Low emission or EV plant
- Vehicle sharing
- Cycle-to-work initiatives
- Flexible working policy
